Beginnings
Founded on April 20th, 2019, by Meredith Mann, in South Burlington, Vermont, under the name BTV Local 420, Magic Mann is a Vermont based cannabis business that thrives on creating high quality products while fostering a positive environment for our clients and our staff. Magic Mann started on a decades long dream of Meredith, with husband Nick Mann, to create a craft cannabis company that produces premium craft flower, concentrates, edibles and topicals, as well as, has a large focus on giving back. With this dream, a team of talented cannabis lovers was built, that has trust, respect, and science at its foundation, coupled with compassion and determination for its surrounding community.
About the Founders
Meredith Mann’s formulations and cannabis expertise spans over 30 years, with both medical and recreational aspects. Her experience, as a Medical Dispensary Supervisor and longtime medical patient background, availed her the perspective required, to help others create a respectful and meaningful relationship with cannabis. Co-founder, and longtime pro-cannabis ally, Brian Armstrong’s expertise spans the business realm with extensive experience in building successful teams, allowed for a merging of synced minds to create a state of the art, safe, expertly managed, community benefitting business.
Leadership Team
Late summer 2024, Magic Mann earned its Tier 2 Indoor Cultivation and Tier 2 Manufacturing Licenses, to add to its Retail (Recreational Dispensary Sales) License. While awaiting our first harvest, meticulously cultivated by Nick Mann, “Dr. Weed,” available for retail sales and Magic Mann “seed to sale” products in early 2025, Magic Mann has released, and will continue to release, craft products created from a selected team of Vermont growers. Our extensive cannabis knowledge allows us to educate in cultivation and processing, as well as patient care, making us a trusted source for all things cannabis. Future manufacturing capabilities include processing and extraction services for other Vermont cultivators and manufacturers.
Magic Mann’s Recreational Dispensary, open every day 10am-9pm, inside the Essex Experience, in Essex Junction, VT, actively curates and prides itself on its selectivity to provide the finest and safest cannabis products available in Vermont. Our extended family of repeat customers also means our products are rotated and fresh. Our “by-the-gram” deli-style flower is sealed in C-Vaults to maintain ultimate freshness, and our bulk pre-rolls come from this same full-flower, once we deem the buds too small for sale.

Our main goal is to provide high-quality products, education, and resources that help our customers achieve a better life, while also benefiting our community, state and the world. To that end, Magic Mann provides livable wage jobs, properly dosed and trusted cannabis products while also providing cannabis education to our staff and the community at large. Magic Mann actively raises and has donated tens of thousands of dollars to support Indigenous and local communities with our BTV Local & Indigenous Fund, supports area events and fundraisers and is an on-going sponsor of music and cultural events in Vermont.

Magic Mann proudly calls the Essex Experience (EE) home. Surrounded by a creative blend of boutiques and culinary attractions, the Essex Experience is a great destination for travelers and locals alike.
